Teacup Thursday

I missed Teacup Thursday last week so wanted to show one of my prettiest trios today, this gilt heavy one is by Gladstone and came from Preloved for about £2.  It was one of the first trios I picked up when the china collecting bug bit hard and I've been looking for pieces in this pattern ever since but haven't come across any as yet.

'A book reads the better which is our own, and has been so long known to us, that we know the topography of its blots, and dog's ears, and can trace the dirt in it to having read it at tea with buttered muffins.' Charles Lamb

Having spotted this quote I'm now going to have to pick up some breakfast muffins - only I'll be having mine with crunchy peanut butter!

I noticed all the book titles you have listed on your profile. I haven't read some of those and am anxious to do so if available here in the states. Thanks~
