Yesterday brought me a little packet of joy; the third issue of Mollie Makes! So I spent last night with a cup of rose garden tea and buttery crumpets to hand soaking up every last page.
Lots of summery ideas to ponder and if you haven't already seen the Mollie Makes YouTube video take a peek:
I can't be the only one who wishes there was a place near me to get making while having a natter and a cuppa with other crafty gals?! Living the dream!
I got mine in the post yesterday too. I love all the vintage china wedding bits, esp the teacups of stems! Amazing! Scarlett x
ReplyDeleteawwww cute...you could organise your own stich and bitch Jem...I'm sure there are lots of nice girlies out there-just like you, looking for someone lovely to craft and chat to x
ReplyDeleteOh Jem, I am going to try and get a copy over here! I love that little clip! Wouldn't that just be the best... Catching up with friends and creating... I would love a place like that close by too! X
ReplyDeleteLordy, I've never seen one on sale! Boo hoo! I must try harder!
ReplyDeleteHoping to get my copy today - can't wait! Love the new look blog - excellent!

ReplyDeletei'm unable to watch the youtube video, not sure why, dang! enjoy your mollie makes and look forward what you're going to make! xx Susan
I feel so sad that I can't get a copy here, unless I take out a subscription :(
ReplyDeleteSo cute...haven't seen that magazine before. What fun!

love that video!! And yes, I agree more places that are like that....places where you can go and do all sorts of creative or girly things whilst eating cakes off cake stands and drinking tea out of bone china should be a national requirement for every town, city and province.
ReplyDeleteIt makes even me, the most uncrafty-fied person ever due to general lack of co-ordination want to be crafty....I agree, you should get your own small business loan and set up your own place like that! I'd totally join in for a stitch and bitch even though I've not stitched for a very long time!!
I bought my copy this morning and have only just had a chance to take a peek inside.Especially love the patchwork caravan..imagine having that?you could have stitch n bitch roadshow..visit all those like minded ladies :)xx
ReplyDeleteoooo I love the idea of a stitch and a bitch ha never seen this magazine before, is it mostly smaller stuff to make? I like making things but don't really have much spare time for it xxx
ReplyDeleteI've seen this magazine and it does look good, one of my work collegues was a bit disappointed with how the patterns are set out though.
ReplyDeleteI really really miss my craft group :-(
ReplyDeleteI was so happy to have found one and was there from the start, but the lady who set it up is now busy starting up her teashop and cupcakery, with gift shop attached, so it's not been running for ages. I suppose at least there'll soon be a nice new place to hang out, her cakes are amazing.
I'd stitch (and mainly bitch, I get chatty and only sew a bit) with you, if I were only nearer...x
I don't know this magazine so I shall look out for it....but I love the idea of buttery crumpets! xv
ReplyDeleteOh I also wish we could have local stitch 'n bitch groups! I wonder how much real support there'd be for something like that.
ReplyDeleteMy mag arrived today and I am reading it little by little - drawing it out. Looks like another good issue.
Ohh it looks like such fun! I love being crafty! I really want to try felting!
