Whimsically wrapped parcels from persons unknown have a special sort of magic I think.  All brown paper, black ink, washii tape and twine, with layers like pass-the-parcel and no clue as to what they could possibly contain until the last is peeled open. Beautiful treasure inside: embroidered vintage trim with deeply autumnal colours and old green buttons on a flowery playing card, a little package of joy that warmed my heart on a particularly rainy, blustery (gorgeous) day.
